At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013, the Chinese-Israeli brand Qoros exhibited on the catwalks the first production car in its history - the compact three-volume Qoros 3. A month after the premiere, the sedan appeared on dealer "counters" in the Middle Kingdom, and in December entered the European market. but left it in June 2015 due to extremely low demand.
In appearance, the Qoros 3 Sedan is attractive and quite modern, but at the same time very dynamic, especially in profile. The front of the car is designed with a claim to solidity - "frowned" headlights with LED "eyebrows", encircling a compact radiator grille with chrome edging, and a sculpted bumper with an aerodynamic "skirt" below.
And the rear part is no worse - it is crowned with huge lamps with LED sections and a massive bumper with a pseudo-diffuser and two "trunks" of release.
In terms of size, the "Chinese" belongs to the European C-class: 4615 mm in length, 1445 mm in height and 1839 mm in width. The distance between the axes is 2,690 mm, and the gap “under the belly” is 160 mm. In the "stowed" form, the "troika" weighs from 1320 to 1410 kg, depending on the version.
Inside the Qoros 3 sedan is made in a minimalist style, where the key role is assigned to the 8-inch touchscreen "tablet" of the multimedia complex, which is spread out on the center console. A nice air conditioning unit is located just below it. Good for the four-door and the dashboard with a 3.5-inch "window" of the on-board computer, and the "chubby" steering wheel "clipped" in the lower part. High-quality materials are used in the interior, and the assembly is at a solid level.
The salon of the three-volume model "flaunts" comfortable front seats with excellent sidewalls and a wide range of adjustments and a fairly spacious second row of seats with a good profile and a good margin of space on all fronts.
The trunk of the Qoros 3 Sedan is capable of taking up to 450 liters of luggage, in addition to this, the compartment has the correct shape. The backrest of the rear sofa is compared to the floor by a pair of asymmetrical parts, significantly increasing the cargo capacity of the car - the volume of the "hold" increases to 900 liters.
Specifications. The engine range of the Chinese sedan consists of one gasoline engine, available in two versions - a 1.6-liter inline four with a 16-valve DOHC timing belt, distributed fuel delivery and variable valve timing:
- in "atmospheric form" the engine generates 126 "mares" at 6150 rpm and 155 Nm of peak thrust at 3900 rpm,
- and in the "turbocharged" - 156 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 1750-5000 rpm.
The "junior" unit combines a 6-speed "mechanics" or a 6-band "robot" Getrag 6DCT250 with a pair of clutches, and its "older brother" is supposed to have an exclusively robotized transmission.
In asphalt exercises, the Qoros 3 Sedan is a strong "middle peasant" - the sedan spends 9.7-12.6 seconds for a start spurt to 100 km / h, accelerates to 197-217 km / h and in mixed mode consumes an average of 6-6.4 liters of fuel per "hundred ".
The Chinese sedan is built on a modular front-wheel drive platform, which implies a transverse arrangement of the "heart". Its front axle is equipped with an independent chassis with McPherson shock-absorbing struts, and a semi-independent architecture with a twisting beam is applied at the rear (anti-roll bars are mounted "in a circle").
The rack and pinion steering on the three-volume Qoros 3 is complemented by an electromechanical power steering. At the front, the car is equipped with 305 mm ventilated brake discs, and at the rear - 285 mm discs.
Options and prices. In the Celestial Empire, you can purchase Qoros 3 Sedan at a price of 108,800 to 177,900 yuan (this is ~ 1,260,000 - 2,060,000 rubles at the rate at the beginning of 2016).
The initial configuration of the car includes front airbags, LED DRLs, an audio system with four speakers, ABS with EBD, power windows "in a circle", 16-inch wheel rims and a multimedia complex with an 8-inch display.
In "full stuffing" the three-volume "flaunts" six airbags, ESP, ASR, BAS, electric adjustments and heated front seats, zone "climate", bi-xenon headlights and other necessary "gadgets". It is possible that in the foreseeable future, the "Chinese" will become available to Russian buyers.
