The cargo-passenger model joined the Lada Granta family at the end of August 2018 - its full-scale premiere was organized at the Moscow International Motor Show. The station wagon was “born” as a result of restyling (affecting the exterior, interior and equipment) and renaming of the second generation “Kalina” in a similar body design.
The front five-door Lada Granta completely repeats the sedan of the same name, demonstrating the "family" X-design of the Togliatti enterprise, but from the side and from the rear it has a number of distinctive features - a characteristic silhouette with a large glass area and roof rails and a harmonious rear end with a large trunk lid and stylish lanterns.
The length of the cargo-passenger "Grant" is 4084 mm, width - 1700 mm, height - 1504 mm. The center-to-center distance of the car is 2476 mm, and its ground clearance does not exceed 160 mm.
When equipped, the vehicle weighs from 1125 to 1160 kg, depending on the version.
Inside, the Lada Granta SW does not differ from the four-door model - a rather attractive and modern design, well-thought-out ergonomics, a good level of assembly, inexpensive finishing materials and a five-seat layout (although the second row is still more suitable for only two people).
In the standard state, the trunk of the domestic "shed" holds 355 liters of luggage, and with the rear sofa folded (several asymmetric parts) it increases to 670 liters. The underground tank contains a full-fledged "spare wheel" and a minimum set of tools.
The Lada Granta station wagon is set in motion by atmospheric petrol "fours" of 1.6 liters with a vertical arrangement of cylinders and a multi-point "power supply" system:
- The basic version is a motor with an 8-valve timing, producing 87 horsepower at 5100 rpm and 140 Nm of peak torque at 3800 rpm.
- More efficient - 16-valve, which develops 98 hp. at 5600 rpm and 145 Nm of available thrust at 4000 rpm.
- The most powerful is the 16-valve engine generating 106 hp. at 5800 rpm and 148 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm.
The least "capable" unit is combined with "mechanics" for five gears, "intermediate" - with "automatic" on four ranges, and "top" - with 5-speed manual or robotized gearboxes (in all cases - only with front-wheel drive transmission) ...
From a constructive point of view, the cargo-and-passenger "Grant" echoes the sedan of the same name - a front-wheel-drive platform with a transversely based motor, an independent MacPherson-type suspension in front and a semi-independent beam at the rear, a "pinion-rack" steering mechanism with an electric power steering, as well as disc front (with ventilation) and drum rear brakes.
The Lada Granta station wagon is offered to Russian buyers at a price of 446,900 rubles.
By default and for a surcharge, the car is equipped with the same equipment as the four-door.
