The Ferrari Portofino is a rear-wheel drive convertible coupe with a hard top and a 2 + 2 seating arrangement, named after the fashionable Italian resort of Portofino ...

The car, combining elegant design, “family traditions” of the automaker from Maranello and outstanding “driving” characteristics, is addressed, first of all, to enthusiasts who like to stand out from the crowd ...

This two-door car became one of the key premieres of the International Frankfurt Motor Show, which took place in September 2017, but it was presented to the general public in absentia on 23 August during an online presentation.

The coupe-convertible, which replaced the California T, surpassed its predecessor in all respects - it turned out to be more beautiful, more powerful and more technological.

Without exaggeration, but the Italians again managed to "draw" an incredibly sophisticated and emotional image - it is impossible to take your eyes off the Ferrari Portofino. Aggressive "physiognomy" with a crazy look of lighting technology and a wide-open "mouth" of the radiator grille, an energetic silhouette with a long hood and "muscular" wheel arches, powerful stern with round lanterns and a diffuser in the bumper, exposing a pair of "double-barreled" exhaust system - looks like beautiful, fresh and dynamic (with and without a hard top).

The Portofino is 4586 mm long, of which the distance between the wheelsets extends by 2670 mm, it reaches 1938 mm in width and does not exceed 1318 mm in height.

The "dry" weight of the coupe-cabriolet is 1545 kg, and it is distributed along the axes in the ratio of 47:53.

The interior of the Ferrari Portofino looks attractive, modern and truly purebred - a sports steering wheel with a rim truncated at the bottom, a spectacular instrument panel with an analog tachometer at the head and two color displays on the sides, a minimalist front panel with a 10.2-inch multimedia system monitor, a stylish climate control »And an information screen in front of the passenger's eyes.

In addition to this, the "Italian" boasts well-thought-out ergonomics, high build quality and premium finishing materials (soft plastics, aluminum, genuine leather).

The interior of the coupe-cabriolet has a seating arrangement of "2 + 2", which means that only children can sit more or less comfortably in the second row of seats. But the front riders find themselves in the tight embrace of bucket seats with integrated head restraints, a pronounced side profile and an electric adjustment in 18 positions.

The Ferrari Portofino is powered by a 3.9-liter F154 V-8 gasoline engine with a flat crankshaft, two turbochargers, direct fuel injection, 32-valve timing and variable valve timing technology, which generates 600 horsepower at 7500 rpm and 760 N · M of torque at 3000-5250 rpm.

This power unit is paired with a 7-band "robot", which, in turn, transfers all its power to the rear wheels (via a transmission with electronically controlled third-generation E-Diff3 differential).

The supercar leaves the conquest of the second "hundred" after 3.5 seconds, the third - after another 7.3 seconds, and as much as possible conquers the bar at 320 km / h.

In combined conditions, the two-door "drinks" about 10.5 liters of high-octane fuel for every 100 km of run.

At the heart of the Ferrari Portofino is a space frame made of aluminum. At the front, the coupe-convertible is equipped with an independent double wishbone suspension, and at the rear - with a multi-link system ("in a circle" - with adaptive shock absorbers filled with magnetorheological fluid).

The car uses an electric power steering with variable characteristics and carbon-ceramic disc brakes with ventilation on all wheels, ABS and other modern electronics (they stop the supercar from 100 km / h to zero in just 34 meters).

In Europe, the Ferrari Portofino will be asked for at least 190-200 thousand euros (~ 13-13.7 million rubles), but the exact numbers will be announced closer to the start of sales.
Already in the "base" it can boast: front and side airbags, 19-inch wheels, leather interior trim, dual-zone "climate", multimedia system, ABS, ESP and a huge amount of other modern equipment.
